South African Woman who Tested Positive of Covid-19 in Kenya Hangs Herself

Kenya’s Nakuru Health CEC Gichuki Kariuki said on Friday that a South African Elizabeth Holloway who was placed in quarantine at the Kenya Industrial Training Institute (KITI) in Nakuru was found dead in an apparent suicide.
It is said that Holloway was placed under forced quarantine and had complained on several occasions about the unfriendly condition she is being placed under.
It is said according to Kenya’s local media house that Holloway tested positive after she arrived in Kenya from South Africa and was meant to self isolate.
The 27 years old was then apprehended after absconding and placed under forced quarantine with other people who were tested positive.
