The call for public enterprises minister Pravin Gordhan’s head intensifies as opposition party Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) recruits social media users to put pressure on President Ramaphosa to remove him.
The call for his removal started gaining momentum this past weekend when Deputy President DD Mabuza said during a brief media interview that President was lied to regarding load shedding.
Which later on saw Eskom Chairperson Jabu Mabuza resigning on Sunday evening the EFF later on released a statement calling for Minister Gordhan to follow.
The party also threatened to disrupt State of The Nation Address (SONA) if President Ramaphosa fails to fire Pravin Gordhan.
