Swallows FC and Cape Town City off to a 0-0 draw in the first leg of the MTN8 semifinals

Top six PSL league finishers Swallows FC failed to capitalize on several attempts to win against Cape Town City (CTC) having being held to a 0-0 draw in the first leg of their MTN8 semifinal at the Athlone Stadium on Sunday afternoon.
Having not played in the premier league in a while, Swallows did fight back in this game against with back to back attacks from both teams but they both failed to turn their chances into goals.
They are are set to meet for the return leg at Dobsonville Stadium on Wednesday 29 September, with the aggregate winners going on to face either Mamelodi Sundowns or Golden Arrows in the final.
