Update following George Maluleka’s collapse during a match

Amazulu FC has assured the public that midfielder George Maluleka is doing well following a thorough medical examination.

Also known as Mido, Maluleka collapsed in the 90+ minutes during a match against Moroka Swallows.

All thanks to a quick response by the medics who managed to stabilize Mido’s condition to bring him back to his feet.

“Thanks for your kind messages towards George Maluleke who required immediate medical attention right before the match against Swallows was about to end at Moses Mabhida,” read a statement by the club.

“Mido was discharged after a number of tests were conducted by our medics.”

Sadly, this is the second time this season such an incident occurred. Maluleka collapsed during AmaZulu’s DStv Premiership clash with Sekhukhune United on 1 January but the situation was also quickly attended to and he continued with the game.
