South Africa continues to close in on top 5 countries worst hit by the global pandemic, Covid-19.

South Africa is now sitting at 434 200 confirmed cases with over 6 600 fatalities.

As the World Health Organisation (WHO) confirms that Covid-19 cases have now hit the 16 million mark, United States of America (USA) also continues to be the worst hit country with 4 009 808 cases marking 3,5 million difference between South Africa.

This is according to stats compiled by the World Health Organisation (WHO) who earlier this year applauded South Africa for the swift response in dealing with pandemic.

WHO also said that the worst is yet to come and countries need to be prepared as there is no one or country that has an experience in dealing with this kind of a pandemic.

“We are dealing with moving target so it is not easy to control” said WHO.
