SA has recorded a little over 1 500 Covid-19 cases in the last 24 hours taking a total number of cases to 1 519 258 nationwide.
The Health Ministry has also reported 71 COVID-19 related deaths with Eastern Cape accounting for 3, Free State 23, Gauteng 16, Kwa-Zulu Natal 5, Northern Cape 16 and Western Cape 8 which brings the total to 54 896 deaths.
