Democratic Alliance to elect new leadership

The Democratic Alliance (DA) is set to hold the centre stage of politics in South Africa this weekend as the party holds a virtual conference to vote in new leadership.

The party has been under the leadership of interim leader John Steenhuisen following the resignation of former leader Mmusi Maimane.

Former youth leader Mbali Ntuli is set to go head to had with former chief whip of the party John Steenhuisen.
