A man has been arrested in connection with an allege rape of an 18-year-old girl at a makeshift shelter for homeless people in Strandfontein in Mitchells Plain.

This incident which is said to have happened on Wednesday, has rubbed many people in a wrong way and have called for the perpetrator to be harshly punished.
