The ever active Gauteng MEC for Education Panyaza Lesufi gives an outstanding support to a grade 12 learner who wrote exam in labour pains.

This happened in a secondary school in Tsakane earlier today according to the statement by Gauteng education.

The learner refused to leave the main exam room where she was writing and was later moved to a private area in an office where she continued to write as she was carefully monitored while still experiencing pains.

That was until the paramedics made it to the school where they waited for her to finish writing for about 30 min and later on rushed her to Pholosong Hospital and gave birth.

MEC Lesufi said they will be meeting with the family to make arrangements for her to finish writing her remaining papers.
