MEC Lesufi: “Damage is Estimated to be Around R 4Million, We Don’t Have it”

Gauteng Education says out eight ICT classes that were burning in Tokelo Secondary School today, four of them where burnt to ashes.

MEC Lesufi said that engineers will be working together with law enforcement agencies to find out the cause of fire.

The damage to property is said to be around an estimated amount of R 4million.

“We wish to reiterate our disappointment in such incidents because they really derail our plans”

MEC added that the department does not have money to cover such damages.

He also pleaded with anyone who has information to inform the police.
