Two South African Police Service (SAPS) members in Roedtan outside Modimolle, Sergeant Mogoru and Constable Mnisi have went beyond their duty to help the mother deliver a baby at a police station.
Members say that the young mother came to the Community Service Center (CSC) complaining about labour pains at about 13:30 at a time when Constable Mnisi was on duty and she managed to contact Sergeant Mogoru who was on patrol duties and she quickly rushed back to the station.

Colonel Moatshe Ngoepe said that the duo took the mother to the boardroom in the facility and helped the mother to give birth to a healthy baby and later on summoned an ambulance to transport the two to a hospital and for further medical attention.
