Police Find Explosives and Hard Cash at a Couple’s Residence

Commissioner Lt Gen Elias Mawela congratulates police who conducted an intelligence operation which led to an arrest of 34 years old man and 25 years old woman in Kwathema.

Police say they requested to search the premises upon arrival at the couple’s residence.

During the search police found 44 blasting cartridges, one roll of detonating cord, 4 connector cord fuse and more than R100 000-00 cash.

Suspects were both arrested and will appear in the Springs Magistrate Court on Monday.
