A 29 years old man who admitted to having a history of stealing found himself in a wrong place at a wrong time.
Dumisani Mahlangu was recently released from hospital in Mpumalanga following chopping off of his hands by a pastor accusing him stealing from him.
Although Mahlangu said he had nothing to do with the crime he is being accused of, he said the 58 years old Apostle Solomon Mhlanga and his 20 years old son Enoch did not want to hear what he wanted to say even when he begged that they at least leave him with one hand.
The incident is said to have occurred on on March 20 when he had his hands chopped off in Vosman, Emalahleni, by the alleged pastor after he was accused of stealing from a church.
The duo appeared in the Emalahleni magistrate’s court on charges of attempted murder and kidnapping.
Their matter was postponed to April 9th for formal bail application.
