Mxolisi Dukwana elected as ANC FS Chairperson

Free State Cogta MEC Mxolisi Dukwana has been elected as the new Chairperson for the African National Congress (ANC) in the Free State.

Dukwana came out victorious having gone toe to toe with Free State Premier Sisi Ntombela after winner with 40 votes difference, 346.

He will be deputized by Ketso Toto Makume who also received 346 votes to defeat former Mangaung mayor Thabo Manyoni, who received 307 votes.

MP Dibolelo Mahlatsi was elected the province’s new deputy secretary with 348 votes while her challenger for the position, Kenalemang Mohale, got 301.

Mahlatsi comes after Poleliso Motsoeneng who was elected as the new ANC provincial secretary after beating outgoing IPC coordinator Paseka Nompondo.

The Provincial elected conference was also marred with protests from other party members, this saw police having intervene.
