Man arrested for raping his month old baby

A case against a 31 years old Malawian national who was arrested for raping his one month old daughter has been postponed to November 3rd.
NPA spokesperson Lumka Mahanajana said that the mother alleged that she left the baby laying next to the father while she was preparing food for her.
Moments later she heard the hysterical cry from the baby and immediately rushed to check what was happening. Upon arrival she found the father naked with the baby’s private parts bleeding.
She was assisted by the neighbours after screaming for help.
The baby was taken to hospital for medical examination while the man was arrested.
The matter was postponed for the court to acquire interpreter services at Brits Magistrate’s Court.
