Life sentence for Timothy Sibanyoni who cut off his wife’s fingers after killing and dumping her in a bush in Stinkwater

The North West High Court has handed down a life sentence to a 59 year old man for the murder of his wife.
Timothy Sibanyoni was found guilty of killing his 39-year old wife Salaminah Motsepe after making a confession to the police.
Sinbanyoni killed his wife, Salaminah Motsepe by stabbing her multiple times with a sharp object last February and cut-off her fingers before dumping her body in a bush in Stinkwater outside Hammanskraal.
Salaminah Motsepe had been reported missing for almost a week before she was discovered.
It was through a confession statement regarding the incident when Sibanyoni outright explained what he did and also took police to the crime scene.
The body was found dumped in a nearby bush with several wounds on her neck and at the back of her head.
Added to his term was 5-years imprisonment for kidnapping and 5-years for defeating the ends of Justice and both are to run concurrently. He has been in police custody since then.
