Brothers Remain Behind Bars for the Alleged Murder of their Father

Two brothers set to remain in bars for over a week before formal bail application at Phuthaditjhaba Magistrates Court for the alleged murder of their father.

It is said according to information by the police that on 10 February 2020 at about 23:07, a 24-year-old complainant came to the police station to report a domestic violence related incident at their house.

The police went with the complainant to his residence and on arrival they found a body of a man lying on the ground with his throat cut and multiple stab wounds to his upper body.

The 49 Paulsi Monareng was declared dead on the scene.

The sons Matetela Fani Monareng (24) and Mohau Ben Monareng (21) made a brief appearance at the court and their case was postponed to February 26.
