A Man Arrested for Allegedly Spreading Covid-19

52 years old salon owner have been arrested in Ladysmith for allegedly spreading the pandemic disease Covid-19.

It is said according to information by the officials the man who travelled to various countries arrived in South Africa on 18 March and was instructed to self-quarantine for at least 14 days after suspicion of the disease and pending the blood results.

After deliberately defied the doctor’s orders, he continued running the salon and even went to religious gathering, endangering people lives.

Apparently he came in compromising contact with 27 people at his salon and they are set to also get tested.

He is currently in hospital receiving treatment and is expected to appear in court as soon as he recovers from his illness. He will appear on attempted murder charges.
