Lesufi steps aside as Swallows FC President

Following the new election as Gauteng ANC Chairperson, Panyaza Lesufi has decided to step aside as president of Swallows FC, popularly known Moroka Swallows.
Lesufi is one of the people who played a pivotal role in the resurrection of the legendary Dube Birds after buying First Division (NFD) franchise of Maccabi FC in 2019.
He made an announcement on his twitter account that he’ll be stepping aside from the post.
“With my new responsibilities, today, painfully so, I had to resign my position as president of Swallows. I wish the team well. Don’t follow me follow the birds.”
