Gauteng Dept of Education Claims Arson at Khutso-Tharo Secondary School

As the authorities are set to continue with investigations on a Secondary School burnt just before school reopening in Sebokeng, Gauteng education say this is just act of criminality in their view.

Lesufi said the government can’t build schools for criminals to destroy.

“We’re going to tell the community to own up and assist us to get these criminals that are burning our schools” said MEC Lesufi.

He said these words in a short engagement before the handover of Noordgesig Primary School earlier today.

Accompanied by Gauteng Premier Makhura, MEC Lesufi is set to pay the school a visit to asses the damage.
