ZCC Easter Gathering to Continue as Usual after Meeting with Dept of Health and Limpopo Premier

Health Minister Zweli Mkhize and Limpopo Premier Stan Mathabatha have already met with the leader of the ZCC, Dr BE Lekganyane, to discuss the implications of Covid-19 ahead of easter annual gathering which attracts over 12 million people to the headquarters in Moria Limpopo.

With no update from the church at the moment, it seems like the gathering will continue as usual.

Premier Mathabatha said that government would distribute a million pamphlets to the church to raise awareness. The church also has members from from European countries which are said to be one of the most hard hit by the virus.


South Africa is now sitting with 51 cases of coronavirus that were confirmed earlier today.

This led to the leadership of Jewish schools in South Africa deciding to close all its schools effective from Monday.
