A case against a young mother has been postponed to November 29th after making a brief appearance at Vanderbijlpark Magistrates Court.

NPA spokesperson Lumka Mahanjana said that the said woman was arrested for allegedly selling her 2-year-old son to unknown individuals on November 10th, 2024.

She is facing charges of human trafficking, conspiracy to commit robbery, and making a false statement to the police.

Police say that, she on 13 November 2024, allegedly reported a false case to the police, claiming that her son had been kidnapped by unknown men in a vehicle.
