When asked why the change of views about Former President Jacob Zuma, EFF leader Julius Malema said that there is no such and his stance on Zuma have always been the same.
He was asked following his utterances during his speech in Gauteng on Saturday when he said he doesn’t understand why people would leave a party led by a young person to join a party led by a corrupt 82 years old man.
Several people including political analysts were of the view that Malema was only saying that because he is still by the number of members, senior members the party is losing to the party led by Zuma, MK Party.
“Zuma is corrupt, and that is not my opinion or something I just started on my own. Even the Public Protector and Constitutional Court confirmed that.”
“He was told to pay back the money and failed even after challenging the judgement in court. What is wrong with what I said?”Malema added that just because he doesn’t have any problem with Zuma, that does not mean that he should keep quiet when sees him doing something wrong.
“My biggest problem which I’m hated for in this country’s politics is that I’m not a pushover. You will not talk to me as you please and expect me to be quiet.”
He also said that they don’t have any relationship with MK Party and they are not invited in any of their gatherings.
