Wife who allegedly masterminded killing of his businessman husband arrested

Limpopo Police get a step closer to cracking a case of a premeditated of a businessman allegedly by his wife.

They said that the 34 year old woman wife of the deceased businessman was among the 2 950 people who were arrested on Friday night, 18 December 2020 at Mpheni village during a “Safer Festive Season Operation”.

It is said that the woman allegedly masterminded the murder of the 37 years old Azwifaneli Mudau, who was the owner of Riyalivhuwa Electrical Engineering.

“The deceased was accosted by a group of suspects and shot dead in front of his gate in Thohoyandou on 14 February 2020. Two of the suspects were arrested after they allegedly robbed a Post Office at Masia and were later linked to the murder of the said businessman” said Brigadier Motlafela Mojapelo.

Further police investigations revealed that the woman allegedly hired the suspects to kill her husband.

Suspects are due to appear in court in a date later to be determined.
