26 years old Thabiso Mogoerane who is out bail is due to appear in court in connection to murder charges of his father retired Major General Hendrick Mogoerane.

General Mogoerane was found murdered in his backseast Hyundai in January 17 2018.

Thabiso was arrested by the Hawks’ Serious Organised Crime Investigations Unit last week Thursday at his home and made a brief appearance in Kempton Park Magistrates Court on Friday where he was released on R 10 000.00 bail.

“Major General Mogoerane’s wife Cordelia Velaphi Mogoerane (57), Ntombizodwa Eunice Dlamini (71), Mzweshinga Zondo (51), Morris Musa Maisela (47), Thokozani Zondo (46), Sanele Micheal Mphuthi (38), Thulani Nxumalo (35), and Bongiwe Lukhele (46) were detained and charged.”

Hawks said Lukhele was unfortunately murdered before she could make any of her court appearances.
