Court appearance of he mother who allegedly hammered her 4 children to death

A 32 years old mother, Nomboleko Simayile is set to make a second court appearance today at Ngcobo Magistrates Court for formal bail application.
South Africa woke up to devastating news about 4 children aged 11, 5, 4 and 2 who were hammered to death with a sledge hammer allegedly by their mother on Wednesday, November 9th.
NPA Spokesperson Luxolo Tyali said that the mother allegedly told her father that she had killed her two boys and two girls on said morning.
Following the confession, the lifeless corpses were found in the house they were sleeping at. She was immediately arrested after community members and law enforcement officers were summoned to the scene.
Prosecutor Lindelwa Totyi told the court that the matter is a Schedule 6 offence and will therefore, oppose bail.
