We unreservedly apologize to PSL and all member clubs

Uncontrollable emotions of the Kaizer Chiefs supporters has seen the Soweto soccer giants on the wrong side of the PSL disciplinary committee.
The supporters were not happy at the 1-0 loss against TS Galaxy where they ended up throwing objects at head coach Molefi Ntseki and his team after the match.
The PSL’s prosecutor Adv Zola Majavu found the team guilty and responsible for their fan’s behavior. He fined them R 100 000 with 30% of it being suspended provided that they are not found guilty of a similar act in 24months.
They were also ordered to issue a public apology.
“Charges of misconduct in relation to the throwing of missiles, otherwise known as spectator misbehavior in their fixture against TS Galaxy. They pleaded guilty as charged and were subsequently convicted. After listening to the deliberations of sanctions, the PSL DC ruled as follows,” Majavu said in a statement.
In compliance with the order, the team issued a public apology which they were also ordered that they publish on their website.
“Kaizer Chiefs hereby unreservedly apologizes to the PSL, all PSL member clubs, TS Galaxy FC and all of its peace loving supporters, for the behaviour of some of its supporters at the Club’s PSL fixture against TS Galaxy FC at Mbombela Stadium on 20 August 2023.”
“The Club condemns this poor and unacceptable behaviour in the strongest possible terms.”
“We have commenced a process of engaging with Kaizer Chiefs’ branches on supporter behaviour at football matches.”
