Just after walking away with Womenβs Coach of the Year award at the Caf awards, Banyana Banyana Coach Desiree Ellis says they understand very well the task ahead of them in the Wafcon finals tonight against Morocco.
Having not lost any game in the last 4 games, Banyana Banyana has a pressure to win the match to make South Africa proud as they play Morocco in their own yard.
Coach Ellis said at the Match day -1 press conference that she understands the magnitude of this game and the team was psychologically prepared.
βWhen I look at the players now, they are so mentally focused, they are so happy and united. They want this trophy really badly. I thanked all of them personally for getting us this far and qualifying for the World Cup, but I told them to be ready for the final push.β Said Coach Ellis
Ellis said that she has not that the girls know what is expected is expected of them and she has confidence in them that they will deliver.
