South African Weather Services has warned about heavy bad weather storms ahead of us in this late winter season.
Western Cape seems to be at the receiving end at them moment as bad strong winds hits their shores.
The province’s MEC for Local Government, Environmental Affairs and Development Planning Anton Bredell, said in a statement on Monday that they received a stern warning from the weather services that heavy falls are expected to hit them starting from Thursday.
“The storm is predicted to bring heavy rain and strong, damaging winds to large parts of the province. In addition, very cold conditions are expected in the province, including snowfall over the mountains. These conditions are expected to continue to Saturday.”
