AmaZulu Football Club (FC) new President Sandile Zungu says he is committed to ensuring that the Usuthu closes the 2020/21 league in the top end.
He said this during the announcement of new players the team has signed.
To show that he is serious about the commitment the team has announced new signings Makhehleni Makhaula, Siphelele Mthembu, Sicelo Mkhize, Sphamandla Nene, Augustine Mulenga, Thembela Sikhakhane, Samkelo Mgwazela Luvuyo Memela, Limbikani Mzava including former PSL runner up Kaizer Chiefs player Siphiwe Tshabalala.
He also said that the 10 signed players will be part of coach Ayanda Dlamini’s squad ahead of the new season as Usuthu looks to mount a significant attack in the new season.
“The arrival of these players to Usuthu demonstrates our intent to compete and elevate this brand to where it is supposed to be. I’ve maintained that AmaZulu is a top four club. However, it is not just about saying it, it is also about taking the necessary steps in ensuring that this vision is realized,” said AmaZulu President Sandile Zungu.
One of the big signing in this team midfielder Siphiwe Tshabalala comes fresh from his international career at Turkish football team BB Erzurumspor.
