Two suspects found in possession of stolen Vodacom towers worth estimated value of R 250 000

Two suspects aged 27 and 29 years old are set to appear before the Cradock Magistrates Court today after being found in possession of stolen telecommunication tower batteries.
It is said according to Police that highway patrol members in Cradock noticed a suspicious looking white Isuzu bakkie entering Cradock from the N10, Gqeberha road on Friday.
One of the suspects then fled the scene after being approached by the police.
Upon investigating the vehicle, six (6) Vodacom tower batteries valued at R250 000-00 were found and confiscated.
