Taxi operator Sello Kgasi shot execution style and robbed of his pistol in Mmakau

North West Provincial Police Commissioner Lieutenant General Sello Kwena has launched 72-hour Activation Plan which include the deployment of various units to trace and apprehend the suspects involved in a murder of motorist Sello Kgasi, 58, in execution style this past Friday around 00:55.
It is said according to report by the police that Kgasi was driving with two passengers from Rosslyn towards Brits on R566 road between Mmakau and Brits in his Toyota Quantum.
He then stopped the quantum fix flat tyres after driving over spikes that were spread over the road. Upon inspection of the puncture, he was allegedly ambushed by two men who shot and killed him before robbing him of his belongings and the two passengers.
Included in his robbed belongings was his pistol. Suspects are still at large and police asked for assistance in locating the said suspects who are said to be Shona speaking.
“The public, especially motorists are warned to be very vigilant when approaching that area at night as it is becoming a crime hotspot. We will leave no stone unturned in ensuring that alleged perpetrators are brought to book,”
