Seven men aged between 20 years and 36 years set to appear in court on Monday following their arrest after they were found in possession of counterfeit cigarettes and weaves in KwaZulu Natal.
Police say they received tipoff about these men selling cigarettes at Hluhluwe and acted on the tipoff.
They were then arrested and charged.
Added to the charge was bribery after one the men attempted to buy his freedom for R 100 000, the officer then rejected the offer and charged the suspect.
Value of the products they were found in possession of is estimated to be around R 990 000.
They are expected to make an appearance at Mtubatuba Magistrates Court.
