Sentencing of a 29 years old Sibusiso Ndlovu today who was found on 54 counts including rape.
Sibusiso Ndlovu was found guilty of 54 violent offences, ranging from rape, kidnapping and assault, in the Gauteng High Court in Johannesburg sitting in Palmridge Magistrate’s Court last week.
Among other charges Ndlovu was facing 19 counts of rape, 10 counts of kidnapping, 1 count of murder and 9 counts of housebreaking that are said to have taken place from 2015.
It was also said that his youngest victim was a 12 years old female whom was raped in the presence of her parents who were tied up during the evil act and proceeded to rob the house after.
NPA spokesperson Phindi Mjonondwane tweeted during the judgement that Ndlovu decided to leave the proceedings, telling the judge to continue without him.
On October 29, 2015, Ndlovu and an accomplice were accused of breaking into a house in Germiston and then demanded money from a woman living there.
Mjonondwane said they welcome the outcome as the NPA and will continue to make sure that justice is served particularly against such evil acts.
