Pressure mounts for Amakhosi as they are set to go against AmaZulu in the MTN8 semi-final first-leg at FNB Stadium today.

One of the most followed and biggest football clubs in the continent haven’t had luck on their side for quite some time failing to win, let alone score any goals.

Following a 0-0 draw by the Buccaneers and Masandawana yesterday, Chiefs needs to win this game if they want luck to be on their side.

Keeper and captain Itumeleng Khune says they need to once and for all end the trophy drought and get back to filling up their trophy cupboards.

“What is most important is to score as many goals as we can and, obviously, to keep a clean sheet because it’s our home game and we don’t want to give AmaZulu a hope, or opportunity to get any advantage in the first-leg, so it’s important that we score and don’t concede, especially playing at home.”

“Our approach will be to attack as much as we can, take the game to the opposition and stop them from entering our 18-yard area,” the Chiefs skipper added.

Kick off time will at 15:30CAT
