Over 700 Covid-19 related fatalities confirmed in 24 hours

Health Ministry say they have recorded 755 Covid-19 related deaths in the last 24 hours with Gauteng accounting for most of the fatalities at 225.
This is also as the number of positive cases continue to grow now at 1 259 748 after 13 105 new cases were identified since the last report.
“Regrettably, we report a further 755 deaths have been reported: Eastern Cape 134 , Free State 26, Gauteng 225, Kwa-Zulu Natal 218, Limpopo 11, Mpumalanga 11, Northern Cape 2 and Western Cape 128.”
“This brings the total to 34 334 deaths” said Health Minister Dr Zweli Mkhize.
