Mmametlhake police station closes due to a Covid-19 case on one of the staff members

Mmametlhake Police station apologises for the inconvenience as they are forced to close down the station following a positive Covid-19 case from a staff member.

In a statement released by the provincial spokesperson Brig Leonard Hlathi he said that the Community Service Centre will now be operating from the Park Home Offices within the police station premises.

This is while they are in the process of decontaminating the premises.

“To access the station, the community can call 082 923 0209, for all emergencies and complaints which will be attended accordingly”

He added that the telephone lines at Mmametlhake Police Station Community Service Centre will not be accessible for the duration of the closure. However service delivery will not be hampered.

Services will resume normally at the station on Friday, 31 July 2020.

“The SAPS management apologises for any inconvenience that may arise from this. The Station Commander Lieutenant Colonel Phineas Seloana can also be contacted at 082 3738 457 or Detective Branch Commander Captain Solomon Moshime at 082 065 1355.”
