Just as uMkhonto weSizwe Party (MKP) celebrates victory against the governing party the ANC for its existence, the party once again finds itself in the media for all the wrong reasons again.

Not so long ago the party announced that they have gotten rid of their youth leader months after being appointed.

This past week, the party released a statement on their social media pages that following a National Leadership Core meeting, they decided to dismiss five of its members including Jabulani Khumalo whom registered the party.

β€œAt a meeting by the National Leadership Core, and in light of the attempts by external forces to destabilize the MK Party, whose aim us to advance a revolution of the people, the National Leadership Core has taken a decision to expel the following comrades:

  1. Cde Jabulani Khumalo, whom President Zuma requested that he register the party on his behalf.
  2. Cde Ray Khumalo
  3. Cde Bheki Manzini
  4. Cde Lebo Moepeng
  5. Cde Rochelle Davidson, also known as Gogo Mahlalaentabeni.”

The party also added in the statement that the act is best for the interest of all patriotic South Africans.
