Man released on bail three times for robberies among others

A 29 years old man from Mpumalanga alleged to being involved in several robberies has been released on bail again by Kabokweni Magistrate Court.
Zola Martin Mnisi was recently arrested by the Hawks Serious Organised Crime Investigation Unit based in Nelspruit Mpumalanga on charges of murder and armed robbery on a matter that is said to have occurred in July 2023 at White River.
Captain Dineo Sekgotodi from the Hawks in the province said that Mnisi is also facing other charges whereby he was also released on bail regarding Malelane cash In transit robbery, which occurred in August 2023. He was released on R5000 bail by the Malelane Magistrate Court.
The recent arrest followed after Mnisi was linked through analysis. It is alleged that on the 5 May 2017, a Ram Courier company was delivering mobile phones to a Vodacom outlet at Ilanga Mall in Neslpruit.
He is said to have been armed together with other suspects when they took the driver and the crew to Mattafin area. The cargo/goods were removed from the courier vehicle and loaded into a Toyota Quantum minibus and suspects fled the scene.
He was positively linked to the crimes through finger prints by the Local Criminal Record Centre. The matter was postponed to March 29th, 2024 following short appearance at Nelspruit Magistrate Court, on Wednesday, 20 December 2023. He was granted R2000 bail.
