Ex-girlfriend survives mulple stab wounds from the bitter ex-boyfriend

A woman gets justice after spending months in hospital following a near death stabbing by her 48 years old boyfriend.
Henry Mamothame from the NPA in the North West province said that they heard in court that the victim who was not named fell victim to her ex-boyfriend Sindisa Matomane who went to her place of residence on the morning of August 14th, 2023 at Kanana village near Tlhabane.
Upon arrival, he found her asleep and took a sharp object to stab her multiple times both on her face and body. Fortunate enough, she screamed for help until she lost conscious.
Matomane fled the scene while the neighbours came to the victim’s rescue.
He was arrested later that and had been in police custody since the arrest after being denied bail.
He was sentenced to 24 years for attempted murder.
