Mamelodi Sundowns mourns the passing of Alex “Goldfingers” Shakoane

The South African football industry has lost one its long serving loyal members and senior officials.

Mamelodi Sundowns released a statement conform the passing of its long serving Communications Manager and loyal supporter Alex “Gold finders” Shakoane.

Shakoane has been involved with the team since its formation in the 1970s.

Masandawana’s Chairman Tlhopie Motsepe said the team and family is saddened by the passing of one the few people who had unconditional love and support for the team.

“Our thoughts and prayers are with the Shakoane family, his friends and all Masandawana.”

“Further details regarding the memorial and funeral service will be announced in due course.”
