Being the only team left in the CAF competition to represent South Africa, Kaizer Chiefs say they are ready for the war and they are looking at nothing but victory.
These are the words that were echoed by the interim coach Arthur Zwane who is also a veteran of the Soweto soccer giant, Amakhosi.
Speaking through a media statement, Zwane said everything goes at this moment and they planning to be the only side to score and not concede any goals.
“We are prepared to take the game to them and be cautious at the same time to not concede any goals. We will be happy if we score one or two goals. The preparations have gone well, so far so good, we are well prepared,” says a confident Zwane.
Amakhosi managed to make it through to the semi-final and they are set to go head to head against Wydad Athletic Club (WAC) later in the evening today.
The Moroccan WAC have also been hard at it having made an outstanding record with their recent run which has seen them go 12 games unbeaten in all competitions.
A record which Zwane says that he is well aware of hence they have taken a stunt to concentrate on their weaknesses as much as they also have their own.
Kickoff time will be at 21:00 SAT.
