Grade 10 learner found dead on sports field in Tshwane

Gauteng Education MEC Matome Chiloane is saddened by the passing of a Grade 10 learner whose dead body was found on a rugby field at Hoërskool Garsfontein in Pretoria on Tuesday while pupils are on their mid-year break.
It is said in a statement released by the MEC’s office that the corpse was discovered by the security guard in the school. At the moment it is still unclear how the body ended up at the school, especially during school holidays.
Chiloane said the matter is now with the police and he asked that they be given space to conduct their investigations.
