Free State MEC passes away in a motor vehicle accident

Free State gov has confirmed the passing of Education MEC in the province, Tate Makgoe and his bodyguard.
It is said that the pair passed away in vehicle accident in the morning hours today on the N1 outside Wynburg.
The Premier’s spokesperson Sello Dithebe says emergency personnel responded to an incident and on arrival, they found that a light motor vehicle had hit two cows.
Unfortunately they found three people including the pair trapped inside the vehicle and they declared dead on the scene while the third one suffered minor injuries and was transported to a medical facility.
Free State Premier Mxolisi Dukwana is set to hold a media briefing on the matter Sunday morning.
