Estimated reading time: 3 minute(s)

Commission of Inquiry into State Capture chair Deputy Chief Justice Raymond Zondo is set to meet with former President Jacob Zuma’s medical team following a report given to him yesterday by his legal citing that he is not doing well and won’t be able to appear before him.

Deputy Chief Justice Zondo heard these arguments yesterday where the commission’s legal team wanted to bring over arguments for summons to be issued so he can appear at the commission from the 27th to 31st January.

Mr Zuma was also supposed to make an appearance at the commission late last year after his first appearance around July.

His legal team said he’ll be undergoing intense medical treatment overseas and won’t be available before March.

Application for his summons was postponed.
