Covid-19 related fatalities surpass 19K

SA Covid-19 related fatalities surpass 19K mark after 45 new related deaths were recorded.

Of the 45 deaths that were recorded 10 from Eastern Cape, 4 from Gauteng, 12 from Free State, 5 from KwaZulu Natal, 3 from Mpumalanga, and 11 from Western Cape.

This brings the total number of COVID-19 related deaths to 19 053.

While on the other hand 1 092 new Covid-19 cases were reported in the las 24 hours bringing the total number to 717 851.

This is also as recovery still stands at 90%.
