Covid-19 related fatalities closing in to 46K

Covid-19 related fatalities have long surpassed 45 000 and now closing in to 46 000 after having recorded 297 more Covid-19 related deaths.
Minister of Health Dr Zweli Mkhize said that of 297 reported deaths, Eastern Cape accounts for 49, Free State 40, Gauteng 52, Kwa-Zulu Natal 35, Limpopo 68, Mpumalanga 16, Northern Cape 2 while Western Cape recorded 35.
Which now brings the total number to 45 902 deaths.
This is also as 3 749 new Covid-19 cases were recorded in the last 24 hours taking the total numbers to 1 470 516.
