AfriForum files lawsuit against MEC Panyaza Lesufi

The fight between Gauteng Education MEC Panyaza Lesufi and AfriForum is far from over. This time the organisation is taking the MEC to court for defamation of character.

But Lesufi said the case brought against him has nothing to do with the said claims.

He tweeted earlier this week that he doesn’t understand how it can be allowed to have an area preserved for white people only (Orania) and they also have their own currency within a republic.

AfriForum filed papers in its defamation suit against Gauteng Education MEC Panyaza Lesufi following his televised claim in November that they were trying to “assassinate” him.

To which Lesufi said it is utter nonsense and the group is only offended because he tweeted about Orania.
