A woman gets 12 years imprisonment for raping a 13 years old boy

A 29 years old woman who pleaded guilty to allegations of raping a 13 years old boy has been sentenced to 12 years imprisonment.

The incident is said to have occurred in June 2020 in Gqeberha where the now convicted Thembakazi Dyamani said she was too drunk to recall what happened when she was accompanied by the victim and a friend also his age to Dyamani’s relative.

The three who are not related but know each other, spent the night at Dyamani’s relative’s house for the night.

NPA Spokesperson in the area Anelisa Ngcakani said they learnt that it was at that moment where Dyamani slept in between the boys.

“Dyamani, who slept in between the boys started to play with the 13 years old’s private parts while they were sleeping. The boy tried to remove her hand but she instead inserted his penis into her and had sex with him.”

Ngcakani added that the boy informed his friend the following day of what had happened and they told his parents who escalated the matter to the police.

She was later on arrested and pleaded guilty to the charges on May 25th 2020 during her court appearance.
