Mpumalanga Education MEC Majuba visits LM Kganane Secondary School matriculants

As the pressure to make it through the exams mounts for the 2021 matriculants, Mpumalanga Education MEC is said to pay LM Kganane Secondary School in Leroro at the Thaba Chweu Local Municipality a visit as they write an Economics paper 2 today.

MEC Bonakele Majuba says he is happy to see an increase in a number of learners writing Economics from 8951 candidates to 11 629 candidates this year.

“This number shows a dramatic increase from 8951 candidates which were registered in 2020 of which 5789 candidates passed constituting a 64.7% pass rate” said Majuba.

The visit is set to be at around 8am this morning.
